[Milsurplus] Radium paint and Xrays

There has been a lot of conflicting stories about things like the meters on the R390 series, and the project to replace all the radium dial meters, when actually there was no threat.  Another from long ago was the story about Xrays from the TV.  The impingement of the electrons in the flyback rectifier was supposed to be deadly to viewers, when in actuality, you would have to crawl under the worst TV Xray offender, under the exact spot the beam was strongest, stay perfectly still for a month, and you would get a dose the level of a tooth Xray.
