You don't need to wind coils or bypass anything.
Nor do you need the many complicated external
"tuners" some have built; one part will fix this.
At the lower left corner of the transmitter is a knob
marked "Series," "Off" and "Parallel."
If on 40 or 30 meters, select "Series."
If on 80 meters, select "Off" and connect
a 100 pFd RF doorknob cap in series from the
ANT connector to the center-conductor of your coax.
Got to be choosy- some so-called "RF" caps are
little more than resistors and some guys think they're gold.

If 160 Mtrs, use 1000 pFd High voltage Ceramic.
For some reason, every Silver Mica I try to use
eats power.
If you use these suggestions, your TCS transmitter
will tune-up to full output.
