Trimmer used in many WWII-Era sets like RAX, TCS,
BC-348 and others. Seven rotor plates is 50 pFd,
so I'd guess this one at 75 pFd. They can be used
to replace those which have the nut fracture and
the rotor fall down, shorting the cap. What can I
trade you for half a dozen of them?

Subject: [Milsurplus] Unknown trimmer caps
I found a box with quite a number of unused
trimmer capacitors. These were from the estate of
the owner of a
1950s surplus store in Seattle. So I'm assuming
these were used in construction of some WW2 era
receiver or
transmitter, but which? Do you recognize this type
trimmer from any equipment you have seen?
Would have to
be something of pretty good size chassis to have a
bunch of these.
Tnx - Hue
