 Of course these may also fail in the same way so perhaps give consideration to how difficult/annoying another replacement surgery may be?  I'd consider drilling and pinning the nut & shaft before completing a replacement - that way there's no future nut failure likely.

Trimmer used in many WWII-Era sets like RAX, TCS, BC-348 and others.  Seven rotor plates is 50 pFd, so I’d guess this one at 75 pFd.  They can be used to replace those which have the nut fracture and the rotor fall down, shorting the cap.  What can I trade you for half a dozen of them?
