1. Yes, they are adjustable. The tag is for the same reason that
BC-611's shipped from the factory marked for 3885. That's what it was set
for when it left the factory. Probably, as with the 611, 3155 was never
used in the field. Like the 611'd, the MAB's work best at the top of their
operating range.
2. I'm not sure, but always assumed that the large screw was a cover
and the actual slug screw was inside.
3. I don't remember. I had forgotten that there was a nut at the
bottom.

1. These antennas are adjustable, are they not ? Then why does a factory new
have a tag on it, "3155" ? Are they only for specified channels or ranges,
as Robert stated about the earlier radios ?
2. If adjustable, is it the large screw at the bottom of the coil ?
3. What is the nut at the bottom of the wooden staff ?
