That's not at all likely to be true for ANY aircraft that had an AN/ARR-41. I know of no case where an AN/ARR-41 would be purchased and installed with two AN/ARC-94 sets in an all-original installation. But the AN/ARC-38 or -38A that originally accompanied the AN/ARR-41 could certainly have been later replaced by another AN/ARC-94, leaving the AN/ARR-41 in place.

Bottom line: If an aircraft had an AN/ARR-41, it once had an AN/ARC-38 or -38A.

What? No dashes?

More precisely, the AN/ARC-94 is a 618T-2 set that requires external 400 Hz AC power plus 28 vdc. The AN/ARC-102 (most popular with the Army) is a 618T-3 set that requires only 28 vdc power because its PP-3702/ARC-102 mounting rack has an inverter for generating the required 400 Hz AC control voltage.

BTW, a serial number on that R-648/ARR-41 is meaningless without the associated order number on the name plate.

I never paid more than $100 for any of my three R-648 receivers, but the last I bought was 15 years ago.
