My dynamotor is a 12V unit, powering an ARC-5 transmitter and 2 x 2E26 in
AB1 modulator.
Using a 12V gel cell battery of German manufacture, obtained from a local
surplus store.
The battery will run the 500V, 200mA dynamotor alone, but doesn't last long
even on no load.
Sitting across it is a 0-16V, 25 Amp commercially made power supply set to
13V. The meter
on this power supply shows about the right current, 14 Amps.
