Those are the best, and in fact, only articles I have ever seen on the development of the BC-348 and ARB.
We could wish for a longer interview, with so many questions, but that window is now closed.

>I know I have seen the names of the mechanical and electrical designers but where escapes me at the moment.  Perhaps you will find your answers in the Antique Wireless Association's "Old Timer's Bulletin", Volume 27, No.2, Page 14 and Volume 27, No. 3, Page 30?  Both of these articles are several pages long and should be detailed enough to have what you are looking for.

AFAIK, the BC-224 was designed by perhaps GE but the Signal Corps tapped RCA for a re-design.  This is why the BC-224 series of receivers starts with the BC-224A.  Because of this, there was no previous designs either commercial or consumer.
