[Milsurplus] Another "factory A.C. " BC-348 ?

Maybe it was intended to operate from a primary power of 24 volts AC.  I 
have seen this idea brought forward and will probably try it. The 240 to 
24 volt control transformer from a central air conditioner would be a 
very available and inexpensive way to step the 24 volts up to make the B+.
