[Milsurplus] Another "factory A.C. " BC-348 ?

I looked into my BC-348-L, the one that has a red rubber stamp in upper left corner, reading

MODIFIED FOR A.C.
READ INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING

The A.C. supply is has a much smaller transformer than the other BC-348 I have that has a non-hammy A.C. added.
In this one, there is a shield stamped with "INSPECTED BY ROK".   There is a choke and a vertical can capacitor and
the rectifier is something like 25Z5.
What think ?
