[Milsurplus] "Foam In Place" Packing

Dave, I think your question was not actually answered. I am pretty confident the bag when filling won't lift anything heavier than a large vacuum
tube. If it had that much energy, it would tear the bag while the foam was still in viscous state, on the sharp corners of what its rising around.
I think on a heavy item you will have to lay down a 'floor' of some kind first, then fill in the rest.
The equipment I saw shipped to my work site had the box totally filled with foam formed bags, not just corners. Beautiful packing job.
I harvested a bunch of these foam fills and have successfully used them for my own packing. It is really about the ideal consistency as a shock
absorber.

Peanuts have their place, mostly for lighter stuff, or maybe to suspend the inner box inside the outer box for moderate weight items.
