I did google and found nothing useful.
Jeff:
Thanks for writing. I guess what I'm asking- say
the item weighs 50 lbs. I "pop" the bag toss it
in the box. The bag is now about 1/2 thick. Then
I set the heavy radio on top of it and wait for
the bag to finish. Is the foam under the radio
going to lift-up the 50 lb radio and provide a
couple of inches of foam between it and the bottom
of the box? Why doesn't it just flow around the
sides and over while it's liquid?

Good Morning Dave,
The company I work for ships very large
High Power( 750 Watt to
25 Kilo Watt ) power supplies all over the world
and we use form in place packing for some of them.
How it should be done is. You will need a shipping
container large enough and strong ( double or
triple wall)enough to hold the radio. Then when
the packing is done, they activate form bags,
place one in each corner and set in the radio. One
the form sets up, they add four more on the top
four corner's. You can add more to the side if
needed. Then it's just a matter of sealing the
box with good strong ( fiber reenforced tape ) and
get it on it's way.
