[Milsurplus] workshop

I followed the common fashion of the early 70s TV and HiFi shops and
put down low pile carpet without pad in my sound room/shop. It's getting
really yucky now, and is a pain to find dropped items on. The carpet
was laid with mastic, so taking it up and cleaning the mastic off the
floor is time consuming but not terribly hard to do. However, because
the room is so full, it will have to be done in sections. The floor
under the carpet is hardwood in reasonable condition, so once it's
cleaned up it should look alright and be far easier to keep clean- and
find dropped items.
