[Milsurplus] workshop

My main service bench equipment varies a bit by need but this arrangement works
fairly well for most projects.  Off to the left is a short rack with VNA and a
40 MHz spectrum analyzer.  On the right rack is a GPSDO/Rb standard with distrib
amp which drives all the counters and sig generators.  I use the 8640B a lot
when working on older radios but the newer stuff usually requires one of the
synthesized generators and the modulation domain analyzer.

Depending on the fault and how modern the rig is I'm working on I may need to
pull out the logic analyzer and other specialized equipment.

A good portion of what I have I bought non-functional so there's a lot of sweat
equity in the photo.

The microscope is for surface mount (such as the PCB on the bench) and for tube
gear I have other power supplies, some beefy.

I am fortunate that although this is in the basement there is a grade level big
door and I can cart stuff up a small hill to street level on a hand truck.
Being on the same level would be better but the basement is completely dry and
entirely my domain to do with as I decide.
