A warning to the wise:
First-hand experience- if you attempt to replace
the IF coupling caps as suggested, do NOT
attempt to unsolder the original caps. The coax
wire connected to these points has a center
conductor insultation with a very low melt point.
Even a 25W iron will melt and short it.
If they have any lead length, then cut the leads
at the cap body and "tack" the new cap to the leads.
If you don't have enough length, I can only
advise caution. I ended-up leaving mine alone.
