[Milsurplus] Cleaning canvas bags and their metal pieces ?

There might be a better way, but I've carefully used 0000 steel wool or 
pencil erasers, depending on how critical the item is.  There's also a 
tarnish pad made by 3M, comes in green and pink that I know of, used for 
cleaning tarnish from RF connectors.  Green is coarse, pink is fine.  I've 
only ever had one pink pad pulled from a connector kit in the mid-90's.
