[Milsurplus] PRC-138 problems

Well, I finally located an A7 power supply.

Put the A7 power supply module in my set.

Well things work to a small degree. Backlights work OK. Begins self test.

But the self test never will go beyond the two rows of squares. Key will 
do nothing.

I know that the interface board battery is dead.

Any advice! Hope this is something simple.
