I have been involved with several SK estates (mostly after large amounts of 'stuff' have been
sent to the junk yard) and involved in one now....

Ebay is not as easy as many seem to think for selling estate items....these tend to be odd ball
items, often very heavy, and you often have to 'sell' them several times before they are really
sold

Families tend to have no idea what things are worth...often think they have a gold mine or
think there is no value (then think they have a gold mine after several items sell for much
more than they expected...the best items always go fast and first)

I would beg all hams to make out a will and/or 'disposal instructions' well before the time
comes that it is needed. I would like to see those near me just instruct that it be donated to
the local club....would make things much easier for the 'kind hearted ham' (read into this idiot)
that is helping the relatives out (yes, I am an idiot and keep helping with the process)
