[Milsurplus] Attaching cable to MS connectors

Not to nit-pick Gene, but you rarely have that much lead length between
the connector and the cable jacket start.

As to haemostats as a heat sink, that works fine on Teflon insulated wire,
but vinyl wire will get permanently smooshed and leave bare wire.
