Hi Bruce et all.....
Shopping and buying is one thing but if you are looking at an "auction" that has a reserve, rather than punish the seller who possibly is very fair in his ebay dealings (yes there may be a few of us out there!) for using his right as used often under most auctions, live or electronic, to set a reserve, just dont bid!!! If you were at an auction house and bid on something with a reserve and won it, would you then stand up on your chair and yell out that the seller is a dirtbag because he set a reserve on his item? Perhaps I missunderstand your position. Please explain it a bit more. If thats just your automatic rating system, please dont bid on my stuff and please send me your ebay name so I may add it to my blocked bidders list. That has only one or two names in it after 12 years or so there
Dont get me wrong I dont sell a whole lot on ebay and even less lately as the rocket scientists there invent new terms and conditions, no offense to real rocket scientists intended. So I'm not defending them in the least and while I've had almost no trouble there buying or selling, I'm at the point where I'd take 1/2 of the ebay price in a local cash transaction, but what is wrong with saying I'll sell my wigit but if I can't get at least $XX.XX for it I'm keeping it. I must be misunderstanding something here???
