[Milsurplus] TM wanted to buy

The presence of an SW-141 does suggest a dynamic throat or possibly an
oxygen mask mic, but it may also simply be an assemblage by a ham who
wished to use a normal desktop dynamic mic with, for example, a command
set. I sent a readable schematic separately, since this archaic
reflector can't pass it on like Glowbugs or some of the other lists I'm on.

I don't recall it being mentioned in any of the U.S. manuals, but if it
was, it would probably be in manuals for jointly deployed equipment like
the SCR-522. I think the first contract (for the Model K) was in 1944,
so earlier manuals would obviously not mention it.

Mike

The schematic glued inside the housing is hard to read as it is viewed at an angle and even with a magnifying glass is hard to decipher .Since it has a hard wired PTT already, would this pre-amp be used with the infamous throat mics? If there was only an instruction sheet, there must have been references in other TM's to use this pre-amp if... blah-blah...Do you know if it's called out in any "addtionall required equipment" ? I've also heard it was used with dynamic mics but I am not aware of mil dynamic mics for WWII radios.
