[Milsurplus] TM wanted to buy

Hi Mike,
The one I have looks to be never used as there are no mounting holes drilled. It is pre-wired with a PTT (SW-141-K), mic plug PL-68, a single wire and a shielded pair with lugs. The schematic glued inside the housing is hard to read as it is viewed at an angle and even with a magnifying glass is hard to decipher .Since it has a hard wired PTT already, would this pre-amp be used with the infamous throat mics? If there was only an instruction sheet, there must have been references in other TM's to use this pre-amp if... blah-blah...Do you know if it's called out in any "addtionall required equipment" ? I've also heard it was used with dynamic mics but I am not aware of mil dynamic mics for WWII radios.
It's a neat little box and would be a cool add on.
Thanks,
Jay KE6PPF

There was an instruction sheet included with the preamp, Jay, but I
an't find mine at the moment. There wasn't much to it, as I recall.
ou need to keep the relay *energized* by grounding pin 4 when you are
n receive mode. You *un-ground* pin 4 when you want to transmit, so
hatever combination of transmitter/interphone/microphone switch
ontacts you need to use to accomplish that is about the only tricky
art to it. The rest is straightforward...+28volts B+, ground, input
nd output.
