There seems to be a misunderstanding, born of my 
inadequate communication skills, about which group is what:

I can't say anything negative about Collings Foundation.
The few contacts I have had with them have been cordial.
I talked with some of their people once about exchanging,
straight across, some of their mis-matched equipment 
for some of mine.  They seemed enthusiastic and took my 
contact information.  That was several years ago and they
never got back to me.  I understand that; life interferes with
my plans all the time.  I have less to swap these days, 
but I'd still help them as best I can if they asked.

The people who gave me, personally, a load of condescension
not once but a few times was the so-called 
"Commemorative Air Force."

I don't care if the group walks on water and raises the dead;
if any group's members treat those who are earnestly trying,
at their own expense of money and time, to help them
in a dismissive, arrogant and RUDE way,
that group has serious negative issues that need to be addressed.
