That's fantastic!  Maybe ... just maybe, I'll get as lucky.  :-)

This has been mentioned a time or two here and on arc5.  With that, I also
got told rather pointedly that there was no documented case of command
equipment, either Model D or Type K derived, being mounted on Jeeps.  And
then there was the all too brief discussion about services swiping equipment
from each other's wrecks, most notably HF command sets of the SCR-274-N and
ARA/ATA flavor.

This is the point I was driving at in the above matters.

Whoa, huh?  Could you expand on that one, especially the SCR-274-N part?
