Yep... on 3885 yet....

After that I used my BC-611 from Signal Bridge and solid
copy to over 7 miles and was asked to continue to establish
some sort of "over-water" record, but I preferred to save
my battery instead. :-)

Signal light was also interesting
at ranges up to 15 miles... "heat modulation" of the
light beam caused some distortion...
