[Milsurplus] TBX from shore to LST-325

Several years ago, or maybe longer, I checked into the West Coast Mil Radio Net with my TBX 8 on voice and Dennis W7QHO and the group down in southern Calif worked me with no problem. I'm in the SF Bay Area about 300+ miles north of LA. I was using a inverted vee on 75 and conditions that day really must have been optimal. 
 I'm sure the same has been done with the East Coast group.
