[Milsurplus] Military transmitter GF 12

Further to what Dave wrote, the GF-12 was a 24 volt set, normally paired up 
with the RU-17.  The sets that the Marines installed in the M3/M5 Stuart 
and the 75mm GMC (Halftrack) were actually GF-11/RU-16.  However, the only 
significant differences between the 11/16 and the 12/17 are the junction boxes, 
dynamotors, antenna relays and the nameplates.  So if you were say to build 
an AC operated supply to operate just the transmitter the filament voltage 
required is 12-14 volts, not 24-28.  Unless you include the big voltage 
dropping resistor that's in the 24 volt Junction Box.
