Dave,
My 1972 D.A.T.A. book rates the 1N1186 at 40 amps AVERAGE CURRENT.
Since diodes in the full wave bridge configuration only conduct on
alternate half cycles of the applied AC a 40 amp average current
rating each would be sufficient for 2X40=80amps output current total.
(Or, 2X35=70 amps if you like your ratings better.)
