Jack,

It is an impedance matching unit that mounts in place of the lower IN-118
on an MP-48 or MP-48-A Antenna Mast Base. Used in conjunction with another
special box on the rear of a BC-659 to adapt the system to coaxial cable
Specifically used to install an SCR-610 in a 2-1/2 ton truck. Coaxial cable
from the box on the rear of the radio ran to the specially modified MP-48-(*).
The coax ran in the bottom of the mast base but instead of running up
through the spring it ran out the side through an angle drilled hole to the
TM-211. From the top of the TM-211, W-128 went up through the upper IN-118 to
the normal connection point above the insulator.
