[Milsurplus] Bendix TA-12C, Need Info

Thanks for all the replies with useful information.
I'll look at the TA-12 more carefully tomorrow.  I remember seeing 
the door on the side; the area behind it was filled with debris that 
had fallen into the garage when the roof was replaced.  I cleaned out 
a little debris and shut the door.  The original roof was asphalt 
with gravel, so there were plenty of small particles.  There were 
many other items in the garage being checked out by other interested 
parties, so didn't spend much time attempting to look inside after it 
didn't budge.
