Hello Group -
While the primary definition of  Confederate and Confederacy  changed, 
was colored,  with the Civil War. 

Before this defining moment; Confederate and Confederacy : ment a league 
or compact between two or more persons, bodies of men, or states, for 
mutual support or common action; alliance.

With that in mind CAF makes sense.  This group has done a lot to 
preserve the WWII aircraft, and provide some historical archive about 
their role in winning WWII.  Keep up the good work.
