After I got settled again, but before I got my ham ticket back, I put
up some SWL antennas. No transmitter(s) at all, just a fair number of
receivers for HF, some for VHF, and a few for UHF, with appropriate
antennas. My lot backs up onto a busy street, and everything inside the
fence is quite visible.
TVI complaints by the score -- in a neighborhood where 95% of the people
have cable TV.. Some people wouldn't be happy if you hanged 'em with a silk
rope; I had a list of folks I was ready to try it out on.
