Cleaning out old paper here, i found a TM listing from
Al Yascavage, "Surplus Al".  
I wonder if anyone has more of the story. Last i read,
he was in bad health, in a precarious state. This was
quite a while ago.

I still have a bunch of "Surplus News" that he published
in the 1970s. ( There was military surplus in it, but no
"news". ) I think that monthly publication just kind of 
faded away.  -Hue Miller
