Hi all,
I was also there. Shopped Thursday and picked up some nice goodies.
Stayed away Friday, too wet for me. Came back Saturday. Got some PRR-9
helmet radio batteries, PRT-4 batteries. Shure black plastic T-17 & M-29
microphones. reasonably priced and good condition de-milled RT-524.
There were NOS R-442 covers ($15) and NIB mounts for same. ($20)
Bought some BC-620/659 cables from Dave. PRT-4 working with battery
from OB Rich.
A lot of vendors packed up early and there were people looking for items
that were available earlier but the sellers had gone.
Aircraft stuff was in short supply but there were some instruments and a
ARC-53 mount, unidentified cro display. The most fascinating item for me
was a Vultee rudder pedal assembly.
Saw Breck setting up the Chinese set on the hood, but the drizzle increased
so I moved on without having a chat.
Mike's PRC-10's were nice, but his shipment came without cases. It seemed that
10 years ago the guy he bought them from had some workers that stole all the
cases and sold them for scrap. Mike has battery boxes and accessories for them.
Take care,
John Kidd
