Marty, i was kinda thinking along those lines too. I read that one weather station already
existing when Japanese invaded, had a 10-man crew. That's a lot larger than i'd expect
for a BC-474 or such operation. "Destination Gobi" - i don't recall how many that
"authoritative source" portrayed in a weather station crew. The China US Navy weather
stations apparently used the good old TBX, so that would be what, 3 man crew + whatever
weather technicians? -Hue
