Ft. Gordon has story on Halli HT7 in use @ Kodiak (1.8-4+ mhz xcvr)

It won war as SCR-543 et BC-669 after disgusting octal plugs
exchanged for mahnly AN-connectors.  Or am I thinking of
atom bomb or something

I believe it mighta been only xcvr around in that freq. range when w2
got going
