I don't concur with the original message either. My father spoke in great detail of the BC-375 in his airplane. Another aquaintenance told me of years spent in the jungles of Asia operating a BC-610 and BC-654. My 'NAM buddies certainly have a lot to say about the PRC-6 and PRC-10 (not all of it is nice either). I have a GRC-142B system which I bring to work when the local tower is closed, and I get a lot of feedback from the 'NAM guys about that one too (One guy told me he received two Bronze Stars just because he stayed inside the hutch during a fire fights. I guess that the hutches made good targets for the NVM.). I also receive a bunch of feedback from the latest generation of GI's when they look at my HMMWV - and wonder why I don't have the radio's installed!

Right - so the Germans, Japanese, the Communist North Koreans,
Chinese, North Vietnamese, and more recently the Islamo-fascists
(Taliban, Al-Qaida, and the rest of such benevolent old ladies' social
clubs) are not or were not our enemies...
A long as you're mentioning Iraq, the Iraqis are not our enemies, but
these terrorists are, in case you slept through the last 8 years or so
- and for your information they're enemies of the Iraqis as well, as
in other places such as Afghanistan.
DUH....
