That's correct for pins 3/4 and 7/8.  

Audio out is pin 1, and pin 5 is grounded internally.  You need not ground it at the plug, though it would make sense to run the low side of the external audio circuit to it.

You must jumper pin 2 to pin 6 to "unmute" (complete the HV circuits in) the receiver.  These pins are normally connected to a normally closed set of contacts on an external receive-transmit switching relay.

For the E/M/P models, component 101-A (AF output transformer) output connection for 4000 ohms is to terminal 5, and 300 ohms is to terminal 6.  I don't have an -O model, but I think it is the same as the E/M/P sets.
