[Milsurplus] WW2 Jap valve replacements

Interesting development on finding replacements for certain Japanese  battery 
tubes. 
 
I had considered using the British D types, DK92, DL92, DAF92 etc problem  is 
lack of top cap though, this would mean some messing with holder etc to make  
a top cap which might add stray capacity/coupling/hum etc. 
 
Funny how the brain works. While sleeping the problem must have been still  
running in the background ram. Next day it crossed my mind I had a battery set  
that had tubes with top caps. Its a WW2 Norway resistance set, Lisbeth. 
Anyway,  it uses D/21 types, DK21, DF21, DL21, the K and F having top caps. 
 
These seem like a good substitute so I have ordered some and will proceed  to 
investigate their worth.
