I have lost my marbles. I am actually going to attempt to use a prop pitch
motor as the main rotator for my beam assembly. If I knew something about
prop pitch motors and selsyns, my project might make more sense to
undertake. But I'm old and crazy enough to try it.
My inspiration for the direction indicator is from an article about
operating remote in the November, 1958 issue of CQ mag. On page 62, there
is a picture of an I-82-B mounted in a rack panel. It was love at first
sight. If you have knowledge of the whereabouts of one of these rascals
and would be willing to sell it (or trade), please contact me off list. If
you have experience using a prop pitch motor and are willing to assist a
rank rookie prop pitch motor operator, please let me know and I will contact
you.
Thanks,
Chris
