Sunday, December 7, is the 67th anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day.
Program number 217 of CHS-TV's weekly "Golden Age of Radio" will commemorate
that day, which President Franklin D. Roosevelt called "a date which shall
live in infamy." Co-hosted by CHS-TV video technology students, Ebbie
Sanders and Jared O'Neal, this special broadcast contains actual news
broadcasts from December 7, 1941 and the days that followed, including
portions of President Roosevelt's historic speech.

"The Golden Age of Radio" allows listeners to relive (or enjoy for the
first time) the experience of "life without television" and provides
students valuable experience in research, writing, announcing and audio
editing.

This one-hour program can be heard anywhere in the world on-line at
www.kzqx.com and in some areas of East Texas via FM radio. Broadcast time
is 8:30 p.m. (Central). The program runs one hour. "The Golden Age of
Radio" is available in these areas of East Texas via radio: Chalk Hill-Lake
Cherokee (104.7 FM), Tyler (97.9 FM), Longview (101.9 FM), and Kilgore
