[Milsurplus] ART-13 and mikes .

  G'day list... with nothing better to do,  I put my ART-13 on 80M  last
nite for  first time in 10 years or more  via new  AC supply. Comments were-
as to be expected - that modulation low  which I've heard is a common
complaint.
Apart from  modifying the  audio module for more  gain, is there  any virtue
in increasing the  current thru' the  carbon mike for more output   and if
so  does any one  have any clues on which resistors are  removed /lowered
in value in the front end.
Alternatiive is to use  a high out put  dynamic  but what ?
