If you want to go the battery route (necessary IMO for big dynos) you might try going to a boating supply store. They have very nice plastic battery cases, batteries designed for deep cycle use, and terminals with wing nuts. First, you will need to secure a line of
credit on your house though, as the stuff is expensive.
