Well, that's because it wasn't at the Oahu hamfest a few weeks ago.  I
would have happily lightened his burden.

As I recall, it's not that difficult to convince it that 25 KCs steps
are desirable so at least the receive portion would be nice to monitor
HNL's and JRF's (formerly Barbers Point NAS) civilian traffic.  The
transmitter ... well, that's a bit stickier though there have been
rumors of 2m AM traffic here for some reason.
