[Milsurplus] More cap confusion

I have found many reverences for "motor starting capacitors" but these
are usually several tens to several hundred uF and recommended for
refrigerators, etc. Is the issue 12 VDC versus 120 VAC? My fridge motor
is far beefier than most dynos I have..................vas gibst?
