ROFL! I love that!
You know, you guys are making me black wrinkle (with bare aluminum
highlights) with envy. Aside from the aforementioned test equipment,
there was nothing of a military flavor present at all. Not even one
A.R.C. product, nary a Collins R-3xx, a complete dirth of BC-348s, an
absence of ... well, you get the idea. I was somewhat stunned by that
which is probably why I was weak and picked up the HT-32. Well, aside
from the fact that it was free too.
The same gentleman who had the URM-127s also had a brace of URM-25s
and something else in the way of military test equipment for the same
outstanding price but I didn't get back to them in time before he
left. I would have had to move the HT-32 a bit to make room (It's
still in the Jeep because I haven't figured out how to get it up here.
Charlie Atlas I ain't.) but they were free and I can pretty much
afford that.
One thing I did pick up was 400 T&B write on wire markers to help keep
track of the cabling as I'm building the displays. That might not
follow any sort of historic precedent but I'm more concerned with not
making wiring errors. BEsides, the price was ... affordable. :)
Best regards,
Michael
