David,
Not really too much but there were a few under Johnathan's table which included a couple of military carcasses with a few good parts left. Then you have George Griesbach? and his buddies who come up with that type of stuff. The reason he didn't make Austin Summerfest in August was that the brakes on his truck quit. I told him to just go slow and take a bag of cement and a rope, but he said he didn't have a bag of cement handy, but everybody has a rope.
I had one of those ARC-5 Tx units that was converted to 2m. Still had the silverfish munched rework instructions inside. Has two 1625s and their sockets, two 832/829 tubes with their sceptar sockets, and many other goodies. Started at $15 ....no takers, $10 .....just lookers, $5 ...more lookers but no takers. So when I walked by my table, I thought, "that's a darn good deal ! .....can't pass it up " ....and I took it.

I was going until the last minute, when disaster struck and took the
"mad money" for the trip. Kees- how was the "dirty old box" count?
I mean the old boxes under the tables where the gems and jewels
always are to be found, like that last connector or tube socket you
need for a set. They've been getting scarcer as guys pass on and
kids throw the boxes in the dump without even looking in them.
Hamcom had a few, but nothing like "the old days."
