[Milsurplus] Amazing

It never ceases to amaze me how many of these sets, some 70 year old, work  
when power is applied. 
 
Just fired up a 99 type 3 Jap WW2 fighter aircraft tx. Orig tubes, orig  
dust, obviously backpacked home from the pacific somewhere and sat in a loft for  
over 60 year. 
 
Power applied, rf out. 
 
How many FTdx97657543632DSP MkII's will be working in 70 years ?
 
keep them rolling and glowing in the dark, hi.
