Hi Hutch, Group

Thanks for the reply. Went through the planes except for the B-25 as
you could only look up into the plane rather than get in it like the
others....oh well. As to the B 24 and B 17 radios ...nothing had changed
in more than 10 years since I last walked through. The BC 375 looked
worse than I remembered especially with these gapping holes in its side
where the connectors once were. The BC 348 looked a bit better but the
remains of a navy enclosed key next to it looked even sadder. The
command sets looked better than I remembered. Someone must have cleaned
them up , just a bit, or replaced a couiple in the ensuing 10+ years
since I saw them last. I could only see the BC 375 and 348 from a
distance on the B 24 as they had the cockpit area where the radios are
located cordoned off. It was great to tour the planes and see them take
off and land and yes it would have been "so kool" to see the radios
working or at least in a better state. But maybe that's just the way it
is...people like to touch and twiddle knobs so I guess why put something
good out there only to have it get worn down and busted by people
handling it.
