I don't think so. I can't remember ever working on Navy receivers. (I
think the AN/APR-9 was AF - but the Navy may have used them too.) The
system I'm thinking about was a series of tuners about half the size of
a footlocker each, plus the CRT unit & power supplies. The pre-selector
cavities were tuned by a cam/piston arrangement with an arc of 10-12
inches. And there was a tracking adjustment about every 1/4 inch. A
real bear to align. The whole system probably weighed as much or more
than two BC-610's.
